Hutchinson started in 1853 with a manufacturing plant founded by American businessman Hiram Hutchinson in the French town of Châlette-sur-Loing. The company expanded rapidly through Europe, and became a prominent provider for well-known brands across the world. The company now has over 40,000 employees in 25 different countries, with Livingston being one of the 15 locations in the USA.
