Puckett's 1954

Located at 1125 West Main Street, Puckett's 1954 has been serving the Livingston community for decades. The business was founded by L.G. Puckett Jr. who, after recently leaving his manager position at Jenkins and Darwin, began selling radios, furniture, and appliances on his own in the building that used to be the pool hall of Livingston. In 1980, the business moved into their current 45,000 square foot location on West Main Street. 

In 1986, ownership was passed down to L.G. Puckett III, and the establishment is now owned and operated by Wesley Puckett. His team includes: Evan Roberts (Delivery Warehouse Manager), Cherisse Sells (Office Manager), Josh Ford (Sales Manager), and L.G. Puckett III (Pawn Shop Manager). When asked why they love being located in Livingston, L.G. and Wesley both accounted it to the strong sense of community. The Puckett's family was built here, lives here, and is insistent on doing right to their customers. L.G. loves that he is able to build a relationship with those that come through the door, and Wesley thrives on being able to turn people's houses into homes for them. 

Puckett's 1954 provides a wide range of services to the community. They specialize in furniture, appliances, home decor, and have a pawn shop ran by L.G. specializing in coins and currency. Puckett's services all of their sales, delivers/sets up within a 50 mile radius, and focus strongly on providing American-made products. The store also has temporary storage leasing, and is expanding their inventory with the RC company Traxxas and the outdoor cookery company Big Green Egg.
