Standing Stone State Park

Big projects have been happening at Standing Stone State Park, specifically the rejuvenation and reopening of the park's historical cabins. The park has reopened 10 of their original cabins this month, and while they are currently located in Hilham Mayor Hayes believes it is a proactive investment. Hayes also could not help but notice that people currently staying in the cabins were from across the United States. All cabins are completely equipped for housekeeping including appliances, microwave oven, cooking utensils and linens. Hayes said having the state invest in his “backyard” will give exposure to Overton County as a whole.

The restored cabins are the newest addition to all that the park has to offer. Sitting on Standing Stone Lake, the park has camping, lodging, hiking, birding, fishing, swimming, boating, and event services. Standing Stone is also known for hosting the famous National Rolley Hole Marble Tournament every September, the largest event of its kind. With such a vast array of activities and services, Standing Stone has something for you! Come visit today and see all that the park has to offer.
